Little about us...
History
Valley View Baptist Church was organized in 1940 after a three week brush harbor revival meeting held by Rev. Roy W. Redding. After church meetings were held in different buildings and houses, a church was finally built in 1945 on land that was donated by George & Carl Kirk. The church remained the same until the 1960’s. Renovations and expansions have occurred several times since then. We thank God for blessing us with a large sanctuary that was completed in December 1999. We are now equipped with a sound room and multimedia technologies, allowing us to broaden our outreach programs. We are thankful the Lord has blessed us with not only a wonderful place to worship, but also a precious church family.

Faith Promise Ministry
At Valley View we are compelled to get the Gospel out. With God’s help we are now able to record all services on DVD, CD and audio cassette. This is all done through our Faith Promise Missionary Fund which was organized by Newman & Peggy Evans after the tragic death of their son and his family. This fund is used to help support missionaries all around the world. Our goal is to take on more missionaries and support them on a monthly basis. God has laid this upon our hearts. He has helped put this all together. .
Organized in Loving Memory of
Joey, Vanessa, Jaylein & Bradley Evans***
As a Faith Promise Supporter you will receive a DVD of all services at Valley View. These will include Sunday Worship Service, both morning and evening, revival services and Christmas Programs. We ask for a monthly donation of $15 to become a Faith Promise Supporter. To be part of our Faith Promise Ministry please contact us at contactus@vvbchurch.org
Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong,
They are weak but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

Church Covenant
Having been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and, on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of God, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.
We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
We also engage to maintain family and secret devotion; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deportment; to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger; to abstain from the sale of, intoxicating drinks as a beverage, to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay.
We moreover engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's Word.
